How to create bar charts?

In this post, you are going to learn and see how easy to create a bar chart on Charts Factory.

Every once in a while you need to create a chart, right? You need to use a chart in your presentations, no code website or a blog post.

Charts Factory is developed to make your chart creation process easier.

Here is the steps to create a bar chart:

1. Sign up

First, you need to sign up to Charts Factory. After you sign up, your password will be sent to your e-mail address.

You can always change your password after you log in to Charts Factory panel.

Charts Factory is free for one week, so you can always cancel your subscription.

2. Create a bar chart

After you logged in, you can click the Make a Chart button on top right of the page, or you can click Example Charts and then Bar Chart on sidebar.

3. Edit bar chart

There is an example chart that you can edit in this page.

You can edit it while clicking Edit Chart button on right of the chart.

Once you click Edit Chart button, you will see a modal.

Type: You can always change the chart type. Available chart types are: Bar, Horizontal Bar, Line, Area, Pie, Doughnut, Funnel, Pyramid.

Title: You can change the title of your chart by editing this field.

Label: You can change the label of your bar chart.

Color: Changes the color of your chart. You can make your chart more colorful by editing this field.

4. Adding name and value to your bar chart

You will see name and value fields at the bottom of this modal. This fields indicate one bar per row.

Once you edit first name and value row, it changes first bar(left to right) on your bar chart.

You can add new rows by clicking Add Row button and delete by clicking Delete Row button.

5. Generating bar chart

After you are done adding new rows for your bar chart, click Generate button at the below of your modal.

Modal will close automatically and your chart will be created in milliseconds!

You can always edit your chart by clicking Edit Chart button.

You can also save your chart as image by clicking Save as Image button, or you can share it on social media like Reddit, Facebook or Twitter.

You can embed your chart on Notion by copying your chart's url.
